They did a great job rebuilding this historical park! So glad that it's open again. My granddaughter had an awesome time there with the animals and rides which she went on over and over. Need to discount adults, elderly and disabled much more!
Great place to take young kids. After the renovations and new ownership, the theme park has been restored to add the nostalgia factor for parents that may have visited when they were children. Admission prices are usually reasonable, since online ticket packages are often available. The only reason for 4 stars is because the parking situation is less than ideal. It is definitely in need of resurfacing and to fit the most amount of cars sometimes leads to long wait times to exit. Be sure to take advantage of the picnic area and pack your own food to save even more money.
I took my 16, 12, 8 and 2 year old here. Used a deal for buy one get on half off admission. We had never been here before and I was worried my older kids wouldn't have fun... We ALL had fun! It was small enough that the lines weren't bad at all. But big enough where we spent 8 hours entertained! I'm glad I went! One cool tidbit, check out done YouTube videos from when it was abandoned! So cool to see the difference!
The rides all seem safe and clean but the other buildings and concession areas leave a little bit to be desired. They do seem to add at least one new ride a year and make minor improvements throughout. Prices went up quite a bit this year so it is questionable as to whether it is still a good value. Your kids will be happy and entertained and it won't cost you an arm and a leg though when all is said and done. Recommended.
Took the grandchildren here and they loved it. The petting area was kind of gross but the rest of the park was really nice. The rides were good. There were family rides and kids rides. The plants were gorgeous.
